Energy healing is a form of fixing or realigning the energy field that is in and around each human being. Some people refer to this as a person’s aura or chi. Many people separate this aura into what is called chakras. There are seven major chakras and when a person’s chakras are out of alignment, there lacks a unity between the body and mind. Many think that what happens within the chakras will manifest itself in the body, be it happiness, illness, or anything in between.
The chakras are not a physical aspect of a person, but rather a form of realization. These chakras are linked to the body via the endocrine system as well as the nervous system. While different people have given different names to the seven chakras, they are each unique to a specific part of the body. The purpose of the chakras is to regulate the flow of energy. When the body and mind are not in sync, it can show in the chakras. In order to heal the body, one must influence the chakras to get back to peak performance. There are several ways to do this: Reiki, color therapy, yoga, meditation, positive affirmations, and even crystals and gemstones that can be held or worn.
The seven chakras, from highest on the body to lowest on the body are the crown chakra, the brow chakra, the throat chakra, the heart chakra, the solar chakra, the spleen chakra, and the root chakra. Each chakra has its own color and a coordinating gemstone that can help to heal that particular chakra. The gemstones tend to be the same in color as the chakra.
The highest chakra on the body is known as the crown chakra. It is generally associated with a white or purple hue and is located at the top of the head. This chakra is responsible for one’s spirituality and higher form of thinking, and also the nervous system. This is the location of any type of mental issues a person may have and enables us to see ourselves as part of humanity as a whole. Many of our feelings originate from this chakra. This chakra can be helped with gemstones of amber, amethyst, or diamond.
